Said Gul - Director
Chairman Management Committee
Civil Engineer by profession, Mr. Said Gul is a prominent
Pakistani businessman in the State of Qatar. Currently, he is the Director of Pak-Qatar
Family and General Takaful Companies. He has been the Executive Director of Eurotec
Projects Development for Oil & Gas, a Trading and Consultancy Enterprise. Earlier, he was associated with Qatar Petrochemical Company as Head of General Services for
17 years, after which he was Director Operations at Al-Muftah Projects & Industrial
Services for 14 years.
Najmullah Khan - ACEO, COO
Member Management Committee
Mr. Najmullah Khan is the Chief Operating Officer as well as Acting Chief Executive
Officer for Pak-Qatar General Takaful Ltd. He looks after all the various departments
of the Company, as well as heading specific projects that require his personal attention.
He has attended many diploma and certificate courses during his service span of
more than 26 years. He has served as Member and Vice Chairman of the Fire Committee
of Insurance Association of Pakistan for three years. He has worked in senior positions
in Atlas Insurance, International General Insurance Company of Pakistan and Habib
Insurance Company Limited.
Mr. M. Kamran Saleem – CFO, Company Secretary
Member Management Committee
With vital responsibilities as Company Secretary and Chief Financial Officer, Mr.
Kamran Saleem draws upon his varied experience for the streamlining Company operations
and improving controls. Academically, Bachelor in Law and Masters in Commerce, Mr.
Kamran Saleem, is also a Fellow Member the Institute of Chartered Accountants of
Pakistan (ICAP); Institute of Cost and Management Accountants of Pakistan (ICMAP);
Institute of Corporate Secretaries of Pakistan (ICSP); and Pakistan Institute of
Public Finance Accountants (PIPFA). His educational achievements include three gold-medals
in ICAP; Certificate of Merit in ICMAP and Second position in PGD.
Ms.AfshanNaqvi – Head of Information Technology & Systems

Miss AfshanNaqvi is a gold-medallist from FAST Institute of Computer Science. She
is the Head of Information Technology and Systems in the Company. She holds over
11 years of experience in project management, and in order to successfully discharge
her responsibilities to the Company, she has had to bring all of her technical expertise
and management skills to bear. Throughout her career, and for Pak-Qatar General
Takaful Ltd., Ms.Naqvi has been intimately involved in business application development
and maintenance; business process re-engineering; ERP application installation and
maintenance; and integration of business application with ERP application.
Mr.Saifuddin Sheikh – Head of Administration

By qualification, Mr.Saifuddin is Bachelor of Science in Statistics and holds several
certifications in the fields of engineering and information technology. He has been
Head of Administration for Pak-Qatar Family Takaful Limited since January 2007.
He holds over 14 years of diversified experience in the areas of Administration
and Software Support. Prior to joining the Company, he was associated with various
IT Solutions companies, and now looks after effective and efficient completion of
all tasks that require discipline and proper working procedures.
MuneebAfzal Lone – Manager Audit Department
Member Management Committee
Mr.MuneebAfzal Lone has conducted and supervised audits of large public and private
companies including banks, insurance companies and manufacturing and trading enterprises.
He has been associated with Pak-Qatar General Takaful Limited since 2008, and has
made himself invaluable to the Company since then with respect to business investigation
and performance evaluation. He is tasked with ensuring the Company’s compliance
to IIA’s standards for professional practices. He has performed many special assignments
for the Company, and was a member of the Steering Committee of SAP ERP implementation.
To his credit, Mr. Lone allows for initiative and independent judgement amongst
his team members, thus encouraging initiative and rigor.
Muhammad Raza - Joint Senior Vice President (Risk Management & Re-takaful)
Member Management Committee
He is working with Pak-Qatar General Takaful as a Vice President (Claims / Re-Takful).
Mr. Raza has 12 years of working experience in State Life Insurance and Habib Insurance.
He is equipped with industry recognized certifications like Associate of Chartered
Insurance Institute (ACII), Certified Takaful Professional (CTF) and Certificate
of Information Technology for Insurance Professionals (CITIP). As an important member
of Pak Qatar General Takaful’s main management team, he has been involved in looking
after the post-sales services, Re-Takaful arrangements and ensuring timely settlement
of claims.
Muhammad FaridHabib - Joint Senior Vice President (Head of Non-Marine Underwriting)

Currently Joint Senior Vice President – Head of Non-Marine Underwriting, Mr. FaridHabib
joined Pak-Qatar General takaful Ltd. A member of the Company’s core management
team, he involved in devising the Company’s business strategies and ensuring its
operational readiness in all business functions, including but not limited to Underwriting
Guidelines and SOPs, Policies and Procedures, Risk Profiles, Retakaful arrangements
and the development of the Company’s in-house I.T. system. For the Company, he has
conducted market analyses and helped in formulating marketing strategies, as well
as coordinating with the Company’s Shariah Advisors during the drafting of Takaful
policy documents.
Mufti Muhammad ShakirSiddiqui – Shariah Coordinator
Member Management Committee
Mufti Muhammad ShakirSiddiqui completed his dissertation in Islamic Jurisprudence
with an outstanding record throughout his academic career, winning numerous awards.
Well-versed in the sciences of Islamic Jurisprudence, Mufti Shakir focuses on presenting
Islamic solutions to problems related to the modern existence, thereby applying
his acumen in bringing the modern world abreast with the Shariah. He has been associated
with Pak-Qatar General Takaful Limited for the past 3 years, and provides Takaful
and Risk Management training to the Company’s employees. At the same time, he is
the coordinator between the management and Shariah Advisory Board of the Company
for all activities in the Company which have a legal bearing with respect to the
Shariah, thus ensuring overall Shariah compliance by monitoring/auditing application
of Takaful to different situations.
Mr. Adnan Hasan – Head of Marketing
Member Management Committee
By qualification, Mr. Adnan is Master in Business Administration. He holds over
12 years of experience in marketing. He is responsible for the overall supervision
of the marketing department, including planning and creating awareness about Takaful
among the public. Prior to joining the Company, Mr. Adnan Hasan was associated with
Leo Barnett, an advertising company. He has spearheaded many innovative marketing
campaigns which have been geared towards introducing the concept of Takaful to the
masses, a project which has met with outstanding success.
Mr. Anwar SaeedKailvi – Head of Human Resources

Post-Graduate in Human Resources, Mr.Kailvi is the Head of Human Resources in Pak-Qatar
Family Takaful Limited. He has been associated with textile, pharmaceutical and
logistic companies for a long time, and prior to joining the Company, he was associated
with National Logistic Cell as General Manager Administration and Personnel. He
has rich experience of more than 25 years in Administration and Personnel Management
in private and public sectors. His natural disposition makes him a positive addition
to any team he leads.
